Creating Credit

Credit can be created by sending funds to the card contract. This can we done in two ways–

1. Using the top-up option on the home screen or card menu

2. Selecting Card Balance in the Swap menu

To top-up, follow the steps below–

Using the top-up option–

1. Click on top-up on either the card frame on the home page or on the balance indicator in the card menu

2. You will be prompted to select from a list of available tokens for top-up

3. Enter the value for the top-up

4. Click on continue and Hold to Top Up

Using the Swap flow–

1. Click on swap and select the asset you want to use for top-up

2. Select card balance on the right side of the swap and select the deposit network.

3. Continue as above

Card top-ups take anywhere between 2-7 minutes to show up in the spending balance.

We charge no fees for topping up the credit card. For EVM L2s, there are no associated gas costs either.

Minimum top-up amount is $1 USD. There is no minimum withdrawal amount

The card contracts only accept USDC for credit creation but we allow users to use any token for top-up. Using our integration with Relay, we auto-swap your tokens in the background and top-up the card for you.

Removing Credit

Credit can we removed from the card in two ways as well. You can either withdraw to the main wallet or send to an external wallet.

To withdraw to your Avici wallet–

1. Go to card section and select Withdraw

2. Select your funds from the list of networks and funds balances

3. Enter value and continue as above

To withdraw to an external wallet–

1. Click on Withdraw on the home page

2. Select Card Balance on the top

3. Select funds and enter value

4. Enter the receive address

5. Click on continue and press Hold To Send

Spending using the card

Virtual Cards

Avici cards are just like any other credit card, hence they can be used online or added to Apple or Google pay for tap-to-pay payments.

To add to Apple/Google Pay follow the steps below–

For Google Pay (GPay):

1. Open Avici, tap Card Details, and copy the card number, valid-through date, and CVV.

2. Open Google Pay, go to Payment Methods, tap Add a Card, and enter the copied details.

3. Verify the card with the OTP sent to your registered phone number or email, and it’s ready to use.

For Apple Pay:

1. Open Avici, tap Card Details, and copy the card number, valid-through date, and CVV.

2. Open the Wallet app, tap +, select Debit or Credit Card, and enter the copied details.

3. Verify the card with the OTP sent to your registered phone number or email, and it’s ready to use.

You can also directly add the details on any merchant website that accepts Visa international cards and use it to make purchases.

Physical cards

Physical cards can be used to spend in person using swipe, insert or tap to pay features.

These cards can also be used for ATM transactions.

Avici physical cards are made using white polyvinyl plastic – durable and built for daily use.

Metal cards are in the pipeline and will be launched soon.

Refunds

Refunds to the card are processed automatically in upto 5 business days.

Sometimes however, refunds might take longer, in that case contact the merchant for an RRN number.

This RRN number can be used by our card partners to track and credit your refunds. Contact Support for assisatance with refunds.

Note: All cards, virtual or physical share the same spending balance. Users can however set individual limits for each card.
